"E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED" in Adobe Digital Editions
This error typically occurs when you're trying to download an ebook to Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). There are two possible causes for this error: your device's time, date, or time zone is incorrect or you're trying to open an old ACSM file that's saved on your device.

To fix the error:
- Make sure your device's system time, date, and time zone settings are correct. You can access these settings by right-clicking or tapping and holding the clock on your taskbar, then selecting Adjust date and time.
- Delete any saved ACSM files on your device.
- Clear your temporary internet files.
- Download the title from your library's digital collection again and open it immediately.
- Go to Apple menu > System Preferences.
- Click Time & Date, then select Set time and date automatically.
- Delete any saved ACSM files on your computer, if applicable.
- Clear your temporary internet files.
